Very beautiful woodsy trails. I do wish the trails were better kept up and more extensive, would be a good place for hiking. Some of them are very steep and overgrown. Not stroller friendly
Oh my gosh putting a new kayak launch in here. I'm so excited. I live right down the road and will he buying kayaks next year. So looking fwd to using this launch. In the mean time I'm going to go check out this park and hike the area. What fun. Thank you St. Clair county for all you are doing for us.
It's a small piece of land so there were only two trails. What was there was cool but it was just really small and not a lot to do once you got there.
We pulled up at 6:15 pm and the first gate was open but the second gate was closed. We would have had to walk a long way to get to a handicap accessible kayak launch. How does that qualify as handicap accessible.
Went kayaking there Saturday. I know it's not finished. I hope they have a good plan for getting people to the launch. It's barely accessible for a healthy person.
